Week 8 NFL linebackers: Jalen Hurts total yards, Derrick Henry touchdown scorer
Jalen hurts over 281.5 passing/rushing yards (-115)
After a fast and furious start to the season, Hurts’ stats have taken a noticeable dip of late. He averaged 361 passing/rushing yards through his first three games, but that average dropped to 241.3 over his last three games.
Now, though, the competition has softened a bit after Philly’s Week 7 bye. First up is a tasty matchup against a TJ Watt-less Pittsburgh Steelers defense that has been one of the worst in the league at slowing down opposing quarterbacks, giving up an average of 304.6 passing/rushing yards per game.
In other words, we’re counting on a refreshed Hurts to take off again from the bye week.

Derrick Henry over 98.5 rushing yards (-115 or better)
King Henry has been on quite a roll lately with at least 102 rushing yards and three total touchdowns over the last three games.
And Week 8 brings an even tastier matchup in the Houston Texans, who are getting absolutely pounded for a league-high 164.7 rushing yards per game, including a league-high 135.3 thanks to opposing running backs.
Last week, fellow Tide alum Josh Jacobs and I went 84.5 rushing yards vs. Texans and easily reached 143 in the Raiders’ 38-20 home win.
In 10 career games against the Texans, Henry averaged 103.5 rushing yards. That includes staggering totals of 211, 212 and 250 rushing yards in his last three games with Houston (2019 and 2020 seasons).
Yeah, it’s a bright green light on Henry’s rushing yards here.

Henry anytime TD (-145 or better); Henry 2+ TDs (+245 or better)
Henry’s five-star game against the Texans’ soft run defense is so juicy, we’re going to pile on a couple of touchdown props as well.
The Titans stud back has scored five touchdowns in six games this season, while the Texans have given up nine TDs in six games against opposing RBs. The Raiders’ Jacobs accounted for a third of that total last Sunday with a trio of rushing scores.
In his aforementioned last three games against Houston, Henry found the end zone at least twice in each game, totaling seven TDs.
So not only will we step in and pay a juice -145 on Henry anytime TD prop Sunday, but we also recommend playing his two plus TD prop for a nice +245 payout price.

Jerry Jeudy over 46.5 receiving yards (-115 or better)
Things certainly haven’t gone according to plan when it comes to Jeudy’s matchup with the Denver Broncos this season. But there is reason for some optimism in London’s matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
Jeudy has totaled 53 or more receiving yards in each of his last four games, including his second best outing of the season (96 yards on seven passes and 11 targets) last Sunday against the New York Jets.
QB Russell Wilson is expected to return this Sunday after missing a week, and the Jaguars placed their top cornerback, Shaquille Griffin, on injured reserve Wednesday with a back problem.
Even though Griffin has started five games, the Jaguars are allowing an average of 150.6 receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers.
